And they grow...?

Every once in a while I have to marvel at how much the kids are growing. Zoe is able to do so much. Of course, only when she chooses too..... But seriously she is more and more capable every day. She whipped up a batch of pumpkin pancakes tonight [premeasured ingredients into junket bowls] which I then made into mickey mouse pancakes. Ry only ate the ears and his fruit cocktail. Zoe only ate her one and on principle refused to try any fruit cocktail. So no seconds for anyone. Worked out well because I only made two mickey mouse shaped ones :)


Tonight, on his own, Ryan didn't put any toys in the tub and then got his hair wet AND shampooed. Just needed help rinsing because he "used up his elbows" holding his head out of the water while laying on his back.


Then he self served up his toothpaste. Zoe was doing the same in the background [she is shirtless so that she didn't get her jammies messy 'cause who wants to sleep in yucky jammies? So true.]


And then they goof off and smirk and remind me just how old they are. And make me laugh. A lot.
