Zoe also discovered that she can read the Junie B Jones book she got last week at school. The schools in WNY do a program called PARP, Parents As Reading Partners. I find the daily assignments and essentially spirit week type activities a pain. That said, it has been a positive thing on her reading confidence each year. At the end of the two weeks an author comes to visit and the PTA gives each child a book. Zoe apparently was near the end of the line and Junie B was the only book she liked. Doesn't matter to me if she is reading it to herself!

I resized the pics and they seem to have lost their mojo. If anyone wants the picture file it originals are very nice. :)
