Parent's Day [s]

Saturdays are apparently good for Parent's Days. Two weeks ago Ryan's preschool had a parent's morning. It was a shortened day that the kids could show off to their parents. I couldn't find a sitter for Zo and had to work at 11. Mike couldn't have come home on time or even met me anywhere. So we invited Zoe to attend [despite the knowledge siblings are not invited....my bad]

Then yesterday oddly the kids entertained themselves until after 8:30. Then they started making noises about how we should get up soon but don't come into the kitchen yet. Which is tricky given the layout of our house. So we lazed in bed until the cries grew more insistent. Once we got downstairs we found Zoe had created 'Parent's Day.' She made toast for everyone, poured drinks for all and even remembered the napkins.

Last night was our second Buffalo Bandits game. It is difficult to take decent pictures at the game so I wanted to try and get some pictures of the kids in their jerseys at home. Zoe is only mildly excited...

And a rare shot of the kids sitting nicely together, smiling at the same time and BOTH looking at the camera. A first in a long time.

And then there was this tweet from the actual game:

In the spirit of Zoe, why can't everyday be Parent's Day?
