Ryan's "photoshoot"

While Eli stayed in the NICU, I stayed in my hospital room for 2 nights and then was discharged. The NICU had two suites for families with babies about to be discharged. Mike and I were able to stay for two nights there. It was super convenient [across the hall rather than two floors down and down a LONG hallway] and we had the doctor's permission to take Eli off the monitors and bring him in our room for feedings. He was, and still is, having trouble with nursing so the quieter darker room was a wee bit more relaxing for both of us. On Sunday night Dad brought Ryan down to visit me. Zoe was sick with suspected strep and could not come visit. We didn't bring Ryan in to see Eli for a variety of reasons. He was surprisingly okay with that. Anyway, we hung out in the suite and Ry took a bunch of pictures. He decided on the poses and the subject groupings. Here is a sampling of the pictures.
