Meet Roary

It all started with Peggy a few winters ago. She got Ryan, despite my specific requests for no stuffed animals, a Penguin. Because he was in the Penguin class. And Pengie has become the most beloved "kid" in Ry's world. Then this summer when we were at the New England Aquarium we bought him a dolphin. He had been asking for the whole year he was in the........Dolphin class. Dolphie is also a must have for sleep kid.

Sooooooo this year he is in Lion's Den and guess what the other grammie got him as a birthday gift????

He came named. His name is Roary. Ry decided his full name is Lion Roary. Just so that everyone knows he is a lion. Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. And a few hours after the package was opened, Roary is snuggled into bed with Pengie and Dolphin and one tired 5 year old boy.

In other birthday news, Ryan got a long anticipated cleaning "alley" aka a trolley. I don't have any pictures of that yet but I'll try to get some tomorrow before I head into work. And perhaps a few party pictures.
